Grease is the most popular method for lubricating sealed bearings. Grease is commonly a combination of approximately 85% oil and 15% soap or thickener. The soap or thickener retains the oil in the same manner that a sponge retains water. The oil is allowed to bleed out as the bearing requires it when its internal temperature increases.

Dri-Slide® HDMP Grease Lo-Temp is an Aluminum Complex grease with moly for additional protection under heavy loads. Intended for use on anti-friction and plain bearings. Highly resistant to water washout; excellent rust resistance properties; provides maximum protections from wear under shock load conditions. Available only in 118-lb. Keg.
