Chain manufacturers tell us that proper lubrication increases chain life by as much as a factor of 4. Coupling this with the reduction in power draw that results from regular lubrication, reduction in down time, and the cost of repair and replacement of associated damage that often results from chain failure, a preventive maintenance program of regular lubrication reduces costs in both the short run and the long run.

Dri-Slide^® Chain Lube 1000 and Dri-Slide^® Dri-Slide^® P-116 Chain Lubricant are a special blend of lubricants and penetrants formulated to penetrate even the smallest spaces, leaving a uniform application of lubricant on chains and chain pins. They are applied by aerosol, brush, rag, or spray bottle, and also work well in hand-held compressed air canister sprayers. These lubricants contain a Technical Fine grade of molybdenum disulfide (“Moly”) to provide superior load carrying capacity while at the same time operating over a wide temperature range. These Dri-Slide^® lubricants require agitation.

As with all lubricants, the best indication of when to relubricate is how the equipment is running, or excessive noise, or excessive shiny spots on chain contact and wear points.


Dri-Slide^® Chain Lube 1000
A non-settling colloidal dispersion of Super Fine grade Molybdenum disulfide (Moly) and penetrants with rust and corrosion inhibitors. For use in central lubricating systems as well as manual applications. Particles stay in suspension, will not settle out in lubricator reservoirs or long feed lines. No agitation required.

Dri-Slide^® P-116 Chain Lubricant
A high flash point, non-settling colloidal dispersion of Super Fine grade Moly with rust and corrosion inhibitors. For use in central lubricating systems as well as manual applications. High flash point of 240°F (115°C) allows safe application to warm surfaces. Particles stay in suspension, will not settle out in lubricator reservoirs or long feed lines. No agitation required.
