Dri-Slide® lubricants are recommended by many trailer manufacturers and are used widely by truck fleets and truck and trailer service centers. Applied wet, Dri-Slide® lubricants creep into even the smallest spaces. The liquid carrier evaporates, leaving a dry lubricant of molybdenum disulfide (“moly”), graphite, and rust and corrosion inhibitors bonded to the metal surfaces. Unlike grease or oily lubes, Dri-Slide® lubricants:
- Do not attract dirt or road dust.
- Resist salt and other corrosive elements
- Won’t wash off even after days of heavy rain.
- Provide long-lasting lubrication, typically outlasting oily lubricants.
Dri-Slide® lubricants are ideal for lubricating:
- Tie rods.
- U-joints.
- King pins.
- Brake cams.
- Fifth wheels.
- Landing gear.
- Axle bearings.
- Slack adjusters.
- Sliding tandems.
- Wheel pads & slides.
- Hinges, latches, & locks.
Dri-Slide® Multi-Purpose Lubricant
Dri-Slide® Multi-Purpose Lubricant is particularly well suited for lubricating sliding tandems and loosening frozen slides, as well as for the other applications listed. It can be applied by aerosol, hand-held compressed air canisters, hand-held trigger sprayers, brush, or rag.
Dri-Slide® EP Liquid Grease
Dri-Slide® EP (Extreme Pressure) Liquid Grease is our strongest concentration of moly, graphite, rust and corrosion inhibitors and heavy doses of anti-seize agents. It is formulated for the same applications as Dri-Slide® Multi-Purpose Lubricant, but where longer intervals between reapplication of lubricant are required. Applying an undercoat of EP Liquid Grease to fifth wheels before applying fifth wheel grease gives extra protection over prolonged intervals. EP Liquid Grease is applied by aerosol.
Dri-Slide® HDMP Grease
Dri-Slide® HDMP (Heavy Duty - Multi Purpose) Grease is a superior lithium complex formulation with moly added for enhanced performance. Resists acids and alkali. Significantly outlasts standard greases. Use where corrosion, moisture, water, steam or alkalis are a problem. Effective on:
- King pins.
- Ball joints.
- Chain pins.
- Open gears.
- Fifth wheels.
- Wheel bearings.
