Without proper lubrication wire drawing operations can use excessive amounts of power. By lubricating the wire with Dri-Slide®EP Liquid Grease prior to the drawing process friction is reduced considerably, thereby reducing power requirements and contributing to a smooth-running, uninterrupted operation.
Dri-Slide® EP Liquid Grease consists of heavy concentrations of Molybdenum Disulfide (“moly”) and Graphite. Moly provides extreme pressure properties and Graphite provides extreme heat properties. The combination of these components results in outstanding metal-to-metal lubrication.
Application of Dri-Slide® EP Liquid Grease is accomplished efficiently with our aerosol applicator.
